In a couple hours I am leaving to go on a live fire range excersise. Basically I get to spend the next 10-14 days shooting at moving targets from a moving vehicle. Which also in short means I won’t be able to post anything to the website for that time period. I can blog from my cell phone but can’t submit pictures. I will be taking my camera and plan on taking lots of pictures so I will make up for the lack of posts when I get back.

A day where we do nothing but work will be a miracle. Someone is always fucking around, and luckily everyone comes running for me to take pictures. I caught the end result so not sure how she got in this situation or who is really responsible but she somehow got zip tied to a chair and then they carried the chair away and left her.

I have had problems with people posting things in my comments that just advertises thier site. I go to the site and its nothing, no pop-ups no ads, no nothing. Its a site with a bunch of words that don’t make sense. I have banned IP’s before but they get a new IP and come back and do it again. However, I have noticed that all of the IP’s are from the ISP “Comcast Cable Communications, Inc.”. So what easier way to fix this? Ban the entire ISP from viewing the site. The primary IP address that bombs my site though is 68.83.28.204. So if anyone wants to have fun and fuck with an IP address…, this one belongs to a spammer. I have contacted the ISP about this guy and they haven’t even replied.

I can officially say that 3am in the morning exists andis not kind. i have seen 3am before but never as a morning wake up time. and the worse thing of all is that i did it so we could leave at 4:15 i mean 5:00 i mean 5:30 i mean 6:00… to go to casey so i can sit in a guard shack in the middle of nowhere about a mile away from the actual range they are firing at… nothing makes sense here… but seeing i am in the middle of nowhere i think i will take a nap

I don’t know what it is with me, I just have the worse luck with getting out of bed in the morning. Yeah, its sunday but I had to work at 8 this morning. Got a phone call at 9 telling me I am an hour late which I already knew cause I had been walking around the house for a half hour yelling “fuck” and “shit”. I am just not a morning person and don’t think I ever will be. What I am worried about is tomorrow I have to be at work at 4 in the morning. I am about ready to start a pool on myself if I make it.

This is going to suck.

So far he has only recieve $830 from the army, not enough to cover the first medical bill. I think the military is going to act on this like they do everything else and take forever before anything happens which is going to cause more problems later on.

Military police detained Cho Su-whan after he attempted to force his way through Camp Red Cloud’s main gate, Maj. Karl Ivey said Wednesday.

I can’t really find any other sources on this so not sure how true it is but its still shocking.

Over the past month I have had website issues, moved apartments, had my only credit card reported stolen (lots of charges I didn’t make, don’t understand), and had a field problem. Its been too busy to get anything done let alone blog like normal. Today I finally got internet hooked up at the new apartment. 73 channels, including several ALL english channels (I got every channel they have for only 3,000 won or $3 a month). Plus got a brand new motorola modem.

The problem with the new apartment is I have no furniture. I have managed to get a fridge, bookshelf, really small TV stand, and a dresser that is only 2 feet tall. I am using the dresser as a TV stand and the TV stand as a desk. I have a bed and washing machine picked out which are really good priced, the bed is new. But I can’t get them until I get paid. Which I will probably be in the field again when I get paid again. I also have to wait until I get my new debit card to buy anything and my wife isn’t on the account so she can’t activate or use the card. I also don’t want to buy too much furniture cause the army will only ship so much back to the states and I don’t want to buy something to have to throw it away or sell it for far less than its worth. One of the nice things in Korea is I can buy furniture that is good quality for a really good price. I have my work cut out for me for the next couple weeks, I am just sick of sleeping on the floor. I could “borrow” an army cot but don’t know how I will get that home without anyone asking questions. Would also not be very comfortable for both me and my wife to sleep on.

Anyway its been hectic and I don’t expect it to change anytime soon. I am pissed about being in the field for Chusok cause normally we get the day off and this is the first chusok for me and my wife since we have been married. I don’t think I can say it enough…, I hate the fucking Army.
