Down in Pyeongtaek, a 58-year-old man claims a stray bullet from Camp Humphrey’s hit his house. He gathered this conclusion because he heard a loud explosion type bang thinking it was his boiler blowing up and coincidently discovered a hole 4 inches in diameter in his house at 4am. The KNP’s collected a sample from the hole, what they collected I don’t know, but they sent it to Korean National Institute of Scientific Investigation. They found no evidence suggests that a stray bullet or that the damage was caused by the U.S. The case was closed due to lack of evidence.

Now if it had been some kind of weapon that was able to leave a 4 inch hole wouldn’t it a destroyed something else inside the house? Unless it came from inside the house. This is just another guy in Pyeongtaek that doesn’t like the U.S. Army in my opinion.

In case you didn’t catch it on the news or somewhere else, on or around Valentine’s day a couple of orphans that were too poor to have a formal wedding decided to get married on the subway where they first met. A passenger on the train caught the video with his phone and posted it too the internet. People throughout Korea were moved by this, and saying that it was more romantic than a wedding that would of cost several hundred million won. People gathered together offering to send them on a honeymoon, give them money, several offers to help the couple were made, but no one knew the true identity of the young lovers. Until recently.

The wedding was nothing more than a project for the Theater and Film Department’s drama club at Hoseo University in South Chungcheong Province. The seven students that were involved never told the passengers on the train that it was a performance. They also never anticipated that someone would be recording it and then later submit it for distribution across the internet. The seven students were in shock when they realized the controversy they had unintentionally started.

Tearjerker Subway Wedding Was a Stunt

I have been spending most of my time on CQ going through everything on YouTube.com and watching thier video’s. Some of them are pretty retarded.., ok, a lot of them. But they do have some that are pretty decent. I even went and uploaded some of my own files. You can view my profile here. I need to go through and upload some more but I only have a couple video’s that are half way decent that I have made. The video me and Joel made of the MRE bomb kinda sucked, but we did do it in the field with a shitty ass laptop that is 5 years old. I need to re-do it and I have the new video camera that would allow me to do that and if I get some better software for my desktop PC I could make a much better video. Which I would like to do. But it also needs to get warmer too. I have gotten lots of new people in too that are more than willing to help so it should be really easy. I have a large collection of heaters which are the hardest thing to aquire so maybe this next field problem I can get that done.

Anyway, haven’t done shit on the site today at all and wanted to get a couple things straightened out tonight. Only a couple hours left anyway so I should probably work on that.

They don’t even look at the screen’s. I wish I had to time to do this.

Turin 2006 Winter Olympics - Medal Count

The U.S. Is currently leading with Gold medals, even though we have less than Norway or Russia totally. We still have more or as much gold as they do anything else. Its also only day 5 of the Olympics.

I started a poll and you can see it on the left, but there are two polls actually. One for medals and one for just gold medals. Don’t need to log in to vote but you can only vote on each poll once.

2 and a half hours left of my CQ duty and I am tired as hell. I have found some new sites on the web, one of which (which I have known about from other blogs, but never really used) is YouTube.com. I never realized how many video’s are on this site. There are thousands and thousands of video’s. Some are retarded, some are funny as all hell. There are a couple that I have watched like 20 times now and still laugh at them. I blogged those earlier. Had to of watched 100 video’s. Then hit up places like ebaums world and JengaJam. Found a couple new games which I added to the site. Then I added two catagories worth of games to the abandonware section of the downloads. A total of 161 games added so far out of a total of 952. If I take a day and just add the files then I should have no problem getting the rest listed and can start on the other files. I have something to put in each of those catagories that I have now made in the downloads section.

I have big intentions for the site, but I also want to keep the site once I move back to the states and don’t know what to use it for anymore. I can’t really blog about Korea anymore cause I won’t be in Korea, and the states just isn’t as intresting to me to really care about writing. Trying to get together a large enough collection of other stuff so that when I do leave I will have that to talk about and attract visitors.

Now I need to try to find a way to stay awake but not bore myself with doing something repeatative like adding download files.
