Been getting a massive amount of traffic lately and its actually helped out with the cost of the website and then some. I was thinking of putting together a contest with the games on this site and seeing I can calculate a high score for the games overall I can pick out who is the best player(s) and award them. Click here to see the top players.

This is how the list is determined:
Each time you play a game, your score is recorded. If you play well, you may find yourself ranking in the top ten for a particular game. When you make it to the top ten for a game, you start accumulating a sitewide score. If you have first place for a game, you just got 10 points added to your sitewide score. Second place? 9 points. I think you get the picture. So basically, the higher you rank in a game, and the more games you rank in, the higher your sitewide score. That sitewide score is what you see next to the names in this list. The list is in realtime, so it is always up to date. Work hard, and you may find yourself the Top Player on this site!

The script will display the highest 50 scores, so it will make it easy to see how far you have to go to get a higher score. The big thing is there are over 200 games and you will have to basically play all of them to get a good score. Some are games of chance and luck, others are straight skill, some have cheats built in that you have to find. Either way, all games offer the same to everyone so its still fair, and the winner will litteraly be the best gamer and nothing less.

With this large amount of games as well, the winner will also be forced to be my biggest visitor which also would make him the most eligable to recieve a prize. Seeing I have made a little extra money its easy to say that money belongs to him. And if this in the long run generates more traffic and I make more money then I will have to increase the pot in the long run. Right now the pot is looking to be about $50-$100 but I need to go through all of the multiple advertisments I have here along with my store and recalculate it. Plus I could open up a paypal for users to donate and increase the total amount. (Like anyone would do that).

This is all still in the thinking stage, nothing is saying I am doing it yet, but am curious what everyone’s opinion is and if you would be intrested in my doing this?!? Leave a comment or use the contact form to let me know.

I saw this the other day while going to work. He was walking slower than me but same path I was going right along the side of the road. I didn’t suspect anything until I got up next to him to pass and looked down. Startled me so much I nearly jumped right into oncoming traffic. I was so freaked out I just about started running. (Then I figured I had to take a picture so coaxed it into a driveway).

I don’t know what happened to it, or if it was in any pain. But if you can’t tell from the picture (I am warning you, you may not want to look) the dog is literally missing half its face. Its kind of hard to see that I mean it when I say “literally” cause of the long hair, but I wasn’t about to move it out of the way to get a good Kodak moment.

facelessdog.jpg

The skin/fur on the right side of its face has been scrapped off exposing its teeth and making it seem rather intimidating when you’re looking at him. His nose is completely gone except for half of his left nostril, the top row of teeth on the entire side that I could see were missing, and his fur was all knotted and dirty like he had lived on the streets for a while. Because of the long hair I couldn’t tell if he was missing an eye or not, but the way he was walking straight along the side of the road without wandering into traffic I could tell he did have at least one working eye. Despite all this he actually seemed rather friendly considering I got right in his face to take his picture (I passed at the opportunity to pet him). He kind of posed for me; I just wish I had my real camera and not just the one on my phone. It’s been a couple days now and I haven’t seen the dog again. I have been keeping a close eye out for him curious if he is still alive or where he came from. I almost feel sad for him, but what can I do? Kill him with my pocket knife right there on the street? It’s not like Korea has a game warden I can call either.

If I find out more on this guy I will post more.

I never noticed it until today, but certian parts of my blog, mainly the administrative part has this little button on it.

Basically its a site discrediting Internet Explorer (IE) and showing you all the other browsers they have out there. I don’t use IE unless I have too. I will use it when adding new content to my page to see if it is being viewed correctly but thats it. I use Firefox and have for a couple years now. The ease with the tabs make it more than easy to use. But listen to some of the comments this site has to say about why not to use IE.

New York Times:

Ms. Sandlin is so devoted to [Firefox] that she has taped a note to her monitor warning guests not to click on the desktop shortcut to Internet Explorer. Do not touch the blue ‘E!’ the note says.

USA Today

Using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Web browser to surf the Internet has become a marked risk — even with the latest security patches installed.

The Inquirer

The US Government has sent out a warning out to internet users through its Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT), pleading users to stop using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer.

eWeek

Meanwhile, security researchers are reporting a new vulnerability in SP2 that could allow a malicious Web site to deposit an attack program on a user’s system.

The attack utilizes Internet Explorer’s drag-and-drop features and the Windows “shell folders” to copy an executable from a malicious Web site to a user’s startup folder, from which it would execute the next time the user logged on.

Now do you need any other reasons? Click the button above to read more. Or if I have convinced you use the one below to just go get firefox.

Get Firefox!

This game is near impossible to play without friends and had some friends get me into it almost 6 months ago and now they are all gone. If your intrested click here and leave a comment. I am a level 30 Night Elf Druid (Alliance) on the Frostmane server. If your in Korea and willing to start a new server I will help you level up too.

I was thinking that MWR was running out of people to come here and perform for us with having this guy come here. I have heard of the guy before but never really paid any attention to him. Seeing the name rang a bell and it was actually on my post I stopped by and checked him out for all of ten minutes. Its been getting rather busy around here with the baby and new apartment and everything else. Haven’t been bloggin much or editing the page like I use to either…, if you have been paying attention you may of noticed Girl Friday just stopped. I just haven’t got the time anymore. I am trying to find a way where I can add new content offline and post it later, then I can use my laptop in the car or on the bus when I am at work and not doing anything. All in all I am still trying to post new content here.
