No one is more professional than I. I am a Noncommissioned Officer, a leader of soldiers. As a Noncommissioned Officer, I realize that I am a member of a time honored corps, which is known as “The Backbone of the Army.”

I am proud of the Corps of Noncommissioned Officers and will at all times conduct myself so as to bring credit upon the Corps, the Military Service and my country regardless of the situation in which I find myself. I will not use my grade or position to attain pleasure, profit, or personal safety.

Competence is my watch-word. My two basic responsibilities will always be uppermost in my mind–accomplishment of my mission and the welfare of my soldiers. I will strive to remain tactically and technically proficient. I am aware of my role as a Noncommissioned Officer. I will fulfill my responsibilities inherent in that role. All soldiers are entitled to outstanding leadership; I will provide that leadership. I know my soldiers and I will always place their needs above my own. I will communicate consistently with my soldiers and never leave them uninformed. I will be fair and impartial when recommending both rewards and punishment.

Officers of my unit will have maximum time to accomplish their duties; they will not have to accomplish mine. I will earn their respect and confidence as well as that of my soldiers. I will be loyal to those with whom I serve; seniors, peers and subordinates alike. I will exercise initiative by taking appropriate action in the absence of orders. I will not compromise my integrity, nor my moral courage. I will not forget, nor will I allow my comrades to forget that we are professionals, Noncommissioned Officers, leaders!

Tommorrow is the day…, (Am I suppose to be this nervous)

Been on vacation all week and have my father in country as well so taking him too all the places in Korea that he needs to visit before he goes home. Yesterday was a rather busy day, we hit Gyeongbok palace, then went over to Insa-Dong to do some shopping and then after all that we went and walked down Chunggye Chun. I have lots of pictures of these already but I took some more just because I could I guess. However I managed to get a couple shots that I haven’t got before either. Such as this night shot of the palace entrance.

Today’s girl is Kelly Hu. Kelly is a fourth-generation American with Chinese-Filipino-Hawaiian and English ancestry. She is a former Miss Teen USA, and modeled in Japan and Italy for several months before deciding to relocate to L.A. and try her hand at show business. She got her break on TV’s “Growing Pains” (1985) in 1987 and never looked back. Some of the more popular film she was in are X-Men 2 and Cradle 2 the Grave.

An MMOG is an acronym for Mass-Multi Online Game. Basically a game in which people play other people not the computer. In my opinion Everquest was the on that made this craze so popular, but judging from this chart, its Warcraft that takes the cake. I just thought this was kinda surprising as thinking everquest was up there with warcraft. There is this graph and more at MMOGCHART.COM.

Last night we got a rude awakening shortly after 2am. A Korean woman whose husband had left her and moved in with another woman showed up at his apartment for some unknown reason. Lucky me, lives one floor above him. Yeah, I know what your thinking, I got to hear her screaming and banging on the door all night. Actually I didn’t even know where he lived until the police showed up. Why? Because she wasn’t at his door…, she was in the courtyard 100 feet away screaming at the door. Around 2:30, me being me, I grabbed my video camera. Here is the link to a shortened version of her actions last night. I live in one of those very tall apartment complex’s you see all over Korea. Not really anywhere else to live. My complex consists of 4 buildings, most of them (mine anyway) are 18 stories high. She woke up at least one person on every other floor. And we all watched like we accidently changed the channel to Jerry Springer and couldn’t change the channel back cause we wanted to see the end result.

After several minutes of screaming at his door from the first floor, she finally went and sat down on some furniture someone had brought down to be thrown out. Then cried like I have never heard anyone cry before. At over 100 meters away I could hear her cries like she was 10 feet from me. People started to come down to try and remove her, confort her, basically they just wanted to shut her up. At nearly 3am, the police arrived and tried forcing her to go. Two other bystanders assisted the police in trying to get her in the car, but no luck. She managed to talk the single officer into letting her go knock on her husbands door one more time. What she intended to do had he answered I don’t have the slightest clue! After 5 minutes of knocking she gave in and quietly, except for the outrageously loud sobbing, got in the car and drove away with the policeman.

I love my wife dearly, but if I married someone like this lady, I would probably leave her too. This woman has some serious issues. Fortunately I didn’t have to work today or I would be sleeping at work, but it was entertaining regardless even if it was after 3am before I went back to bed.
