Some days I feel like my entire world is crashing. I don’t know what it is lately but it seems like there is just one issue right after another.

Today I get counseled on two of my web sites. I am forced to remove certain items from those sites. I think its the videos that pissed me off the most. I am going to have to re-edit one so I can post it back on the site. I guess I can’t say too much, in a way I knew it was coming. I am actually surprised no one, besides the one civilian that asked my grandmother before he asked me, has asked me to remove the content from the site if its that big of a deal.

I have now removed all the content, I hope and now I get the demeaning task of keeping the content off. I guess on the brighter side I will be able to focus more on the other content.

I finally finished AtomicBlur.com, at least to the point where I can start advertising it and getting the word out. But before that I have to fix something in a folder on razornylon.com. I don’t know what it is but its something that apparently is violating copyright infringement, they shut my site down for an hour tonight while I tried to figure out what it was. I was on hold with them for 51 minutes before I actually spoke with anyone. I was about ready to strangle someone by the time I was done.

I confesed there was nothing there that was copyrighted and didn’t understand how they would of found anything anyway cause the site has been basically shut down for the past two weeks while I rebuild it. Either way that is my main focus for the next 24 hours. Seeing I am in the middle of a complete rebuild I will probably just delete it and start over. Its almost 4am so I am quiting for now. Hopefully tomorrow I will get out of the house.

If your a regular, and I know I don’t have many, you may have noticed that this site and a couple of my other sites were down for the past 12-24 hours or so.

The reason for this is because I have switched my hosting providers. I have been hosted with Godaddy.com for a while now. There servers have caused some problems with some of my scripts and did not support a multi-language SQL database. This has been a big problem seeing one of the domains that I do have is all in Korean. It has been down since I have been hosted with GoDaddy.

I am now hosted with IX Web Hosting which has been rated #1 all across the internet. One of the main reasons I actually picked them was the fact that they are in Hopkinsville, KY which is about 20 minutes from Fort Campbell. This will be beneficial to me because if the weather is bad and the power is out it may have an effect on the speed of the site. It also means that if and when they piss me off I can pay a visit. Not that I ever will, but the thought amuses me.

They are rated the best on multiple web sites, and their hosting packages are very nicely packaged. I got the business package at $6.45 a month. Which I think is very reasonable. I now have 300GB of webspace, 1.5TB of bandwidth, 5,000 e-mail addresses with 2GB each, 100 MySQL databases, and all the plugins and server requirements I need for all of my sites in the same place. I have room to grow as well. The problem that I have with this package is I am only allowed to host up to 8 domains. Leaving my room to grow to only one domain. I have a thought of an 8th website to build but it would require myself to maintain more often than I would be able to. We will see over time, but its a site would really like to create.

I went thought and cleaned up the website a little bit. The stuff that was here is still here I am working on re-doing the links to it and placing them in a sitemap. Let me know what you think.

I am surprised at how well this new site has been doing. Opened it on the 2nd of this month and activated the counter on the 9th. Since the 9th I have gotten over 85,000 visitors, up to 11,000 in just one day. According to Alexa.com which is a site that ranks all the pages on the net ShamSchool.com is ranked 2,164,009 while RazorNylon that has been around for 9 years is only at 2,673,535. Over half a million higher in less than a month. Maybe I should of thought of doing this a while ago. Or maybe I should find a way to make some money off of it!

I have been talking about changing servers for several months now. Today, I finally put my money where my mouth is and went ahead and did it. Not only did I change to a more reliable server, but I managed to get a couple other upgrades as well. One of the more noticable upgrades is the increase in space. I went from 15gigs of web space up to an outrageously excessive amount of 100gigs. I can’t imagine what I will do with that much space as of right now, I do know that it is a lot. (I have one computer that only has an 80gig hard drive in it).

Right now the ACCP folder that hold most of the files for download is unreachable. The server has some kind of protection on it to hide the files if there is no HTML file there to view. Which for me is kind of nice, except for this one instance. This means that the only way people can download the newest ACCP is from the forum. I have to go through and create links to each file. There are over 2,600 files there and that could take a lot of time. For right now I don’t know what I am going to do, but I am sure I will think of something soon.

I am also in the process of moving all military related files and other material to a new domain. This will allow me to turn this site back into a more personal site like it was originally intended. The domain doesn’t sound so scarry or irrelevent to those coming to visit either. Currently, I have the site up and functional, however there is nothing there of intrest. I have the theme and forum completed but no files or anything else. It will have about 5 times the amount of files I have here. Such as ACCP, PowerPoint presentations, Award and NCOer Bullets, Counseling templates, and some videos. (Excessive amounts of each, as always with me). I am looking for some help if anyone is intrested. Its a full blown military site so I will need moderators to help me monitor any OPSEC violations. If your intrested in assisting me in being a moderator, donating more files to host on the page, or have some skills and want to give me a hand please contact me.

I will not disclose the new domain address until it is fully functional, so please do not ask.

I found this and thought it was kinda wierd. I upload a picture movie or something that defines my site (???) and they put me in a que to advertise my site for 15 minutes on thier site. Doubt I will remember to check it out or not but this is the time I am slotted to be advertised by them. I will check my counter later if I miss it though and it will tell me if its worth anything.

Due to some issues I have been having, I am going through and changing hosts for my web page. I have been using Site5.com and they are just a pain in the ass to work with. They keep moving locations of software on thier servers, and editing the files on my page without informing me. They did something so my search page is all fucked up, and I can’t figure it out now. Its also near impossible for me to contact them cause they don’t own a phone, only e-mail that they don’t read.

So after several months of wanting to make the switch I am moving to Midphase.com which not only offers more space, they offer a lot more other stuff too.

Never believed that I would get this many hits here, but have over half a million hits since I installed the new counter this year. Thanks to all for the support and hope you stick around.

WooHoo, just like that!!

The blog is back on top where it use to be with the latest 20 posts. I am having trouble going back and forth wondering what I want with this site. But for now I figure I might as well leave it the way it has been seeing I have been getting good traffic from it. I have been too busy to really do anything but taking 10 minutes to write a blog isn’t really that hard. Even though I hardly do it.

Will try to post more, just need something more intresting going on to blog about.
